What does the External Examinations Department
offer a Private Teacher, an Institute or a School?

For those of you who do not work with us, but would like to, these are some of the services the Dickens offers:

* Guidance and support in order to make teaching more effective.
* Syllabuses, extra material, bimonthly tests and end of the year exams.
* A yearly coverage of a wide selection of textbooks for children, juniors, adults and advanced students.
* Regular lectures, talks and seminars.
* Teacher Training Courses on Saturdays.
* Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) from University of Cambridge.
* Preparation and exams.
* International Teacher Training Course: Certificate TESOL, Trinity College London
* Certificates for your students from the Dickens Institute in conjunction with Oxford House College London.
* Plays for your students in English. These are offered by The Middle Comedy Drama Group in conjunction with the Dickens Institute.
* International Exams from the following Examinations Boards:

Trinity College London
University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations
University of Cambridge International Examinations

* Dickens Teachers travel to the provinces so that students and their Teachers need not come to Montevideo. The students are examined in situ, in their own cities, towns or villages.
* All in all we believe we are providing a high quality service, but most important, we are making and have made excellent friends who share with us the spirit of the Dickens.

DATES ON WHICH YOU ARE INVITED TO COLLECT YOUR ROUNDS OF BIMONTHY TESTS:

FIRST ROUND - From 4 May onwards

SECOND ROUND - From 1 July onwards

THIRD ROUND - From 1 September onwards

FOURTH ROUND- From 4 November onwards

**The Oral Exams will be on 16th October in Montevideo
**The Written Exams will be on 4th December in Montevideo

COPIES OF FINAL EXAMS 2009

Please put in your order for the copies of the final exams 2009 you need before 15th October. They will be handed out to you with the 4th Round of Tests.

Not later than the 15th, please, as it causes quite a lot of trouble with the organization.
